Empower, Believe, Love

Welcome to Our Children Matter Corporation

Our mission and vision is to bring community outreach and assistance to youth and young adults (ages 4-20) and families.

" It's not how much we give but how much love we put into giving"

We have three identifiable purposes for Our Children Matter

Empower :Making youth stronger and more confident, especially in controlling their life in a positive way and claiming their rights and responsibilities as they grow and mature.

Believe :Teaching youth to have trust, faith and confidence in something they strive to do later in life and help today’s society in reaching those youth who seem to have lost their way and purpose in life. And believing in themselves gives youth confidence so that we as the community and organization can see power, change, and growth.

Love:Providing love to youth and reaching out and letting them know they have a place and someone they know they can rely on and count on when things get unbearable and they need help. Providing unconditional

love and support. Providing that safe place to feel comfortable in the environment around them as well. Teaching children to love themselves first and enough to where they share the same love they have for others in the communities.

About Us

“Every child you encounter is a divine appointment.”

In 2020, Our Children Matter was founded upon giving community outreach and assistance to youth and young adults ages (4-20) and families. Our Children Matter is dedicated to finding resources, life skills, job development opportunities, and mental health strategies. Our Children Matter started out small with 4 board members and maybe 2 volunteers at the time, this was during the pandemic, in February of 2020, Executive Director Anthony , had a mental health conference on Facebook Live that had well over 1,200 people watching including youth. As Our Children Matter began to grow in 2022, we started holding events where families who were in need of food during the holiday season with 450 families in attendance to get food.

We raised $800.00 in 2021 alone to help push events, resources, and community engagements.
